Measuring Vendor SLA Performance
A Service Level Agreement (SLA) is a set of
rules and metrics which are used to measure both the efficiency
and performance of network components.
Are you getting what you pay for?
Are your network nodes or any other network components performing
as they should and conforming to their SLA's?
The NNMC provides detailed information in graphical representation
of services provided by 3rd party telecom vendors. Information
such as bandwidth utilisation used by network elements, enables
you to verify for SLA performance analysis and may affect
future planning decsions.
For a true picture of SLA performance and analysis the NNMC
is able to differentiate between component failure (server)
and that of service failure (LAN or WAN). As component failure
will have an undoubted impact upon a service, this differentiation
provides for true and accurate SLA reporting.

LAN
and Bandwidth Utilisation
This is especially useful for pro-actively
monitoring connectivity between networked sites, and provides
useful information for planning bandwidth provision now
and into the future. |

Application
Service Providers
Application Service Providers may
provide 3rd party hosting facilities. Although many state
they provide over 99.9% uptime, can you be sure! Again
the NNMC allows for full reporting upon the availability
stated by these service providers, providing you with
hard evidence to back up your decision making.
